Once loosened, the system is gently lifted away—starting from the back—and your scalp is cleaned of any remaining adhesive, then washed and dried. The process includes:

• Scalp preparation: the bonding area is shaved or closely trimmed again, cleaned with an alcohol-based product to remove oils, and prepped with a scalp protector to improve adhesion and reduce irritation
• System cleaning: the base is separately treated with specialist solvents and cleansers to remove old tape and glue, then gently washed, rinsed, and air-dried
• Reattachment: fresh adhesive (typically tape around the perimeter and glue along the front hairline) is applied in a thin, even layer and allowed to become tacky before the system is positioned from the hairline backwards, stretched to avoid air bubbles, and pressed firmly into place
• Styling: once bonded, your hair is cut, blended, and styled to integrate seamlessly with your natural growth pattern
