What to Expect

Your stylist will take small slices or weaves within a T-shaped zone across the top of your head, applying lightener in foils to lift and brighten the most visible sections:

• Parting area for clean, even regrowth
• Front hairline for face-framing brightness
• Crown and top for renewed dimension and lift

The underneath and back remain largely unchanged, creating depth and contrast while concentrating lightness where it counts. Processing typically takes 1–2 hours depending on hair length, thickness and whether a toner or cut is added. A toner may be applied after rinsing to refine your shade, neutralise warmth and achieve your desired tone—cool, neutral or honey.

Who T Section Highlights Suit

This service works beautifully as maintenance for existing highlight clients who feel the top looks dull or grown out. If you're after a major overall lightening or transforming your entire colour, a full or half head of highlights will be a better fit. T Section Highlights are perfect if you:

• Already have a base of highlights and want to tidy visible regrowth
• Love the brightness around your face but don't need a full refresh
• Want a cost-effective, time-efficient top-up between comprehensive colour services

Many Weymouth clients alternate T Section appointments with periodic full or half head highlights to maintain an even, multidimensional result year-round.

Aftercare & Maintenance

Lightener can be drying, so using a colour-care shampoo and conditioner helps preserve tone and reduce fading. Regular deep conditioning treatments keep hair smooth and manageable. Limit high-heat styling, always use a heat protectant, and avoid repeated overlapping of bleach on the same sections to minimise damage.

For blonde highlights, a purple or blue shampoo used periodically controls brassiness between salon visits. Regrowth along the parting and hairline typically becomes noticeable at 6–8 weeks, depending on your hair growth rate and the contrast between your natural colour and highlights.
